Q1
Scientific Revolution-  was a new way of thinking about the world, when scholars started to question the geocentric theory.

Nicolaus Copernicus-  astronomer who studied planetary movements and discovered that the stars, the Earth, and the other planets revolved around the Sun.

Heliocentric Theory-  a theory by Nicolaus Copernicus that the stars, the Earth and the other planets revolved around the Sun.

 Johannes Kepler-  mathematician who with mathematical laws discovered that the planets revolve around the sun in elliptical orbits instead of circles, also her laws proved that Nicolaus Copernicus basic ideas were true.

 Galileo Galilei- Italian student who discovered the law of the pendulum, also invented the telescope.

Scientific method- procedure for gathering and testing ideas.

Francis Bacon-  English politician and writer. he wrote that scientists should observe the world and gather information first then draw conclusions.

René Descartes-  scientist who relied on mathematics and logic to draw conclusions of theories.

Isaac Newton- discovered that the same force ruled the motions of the planets, the pendulum, and all matter on earth and in space.

Q2

- Scholars began to have new theories.
- People did not believe the Church.
-Scientists began to prove theories.
-Scientists mixed science with math to prove theories.
